Fluid grinding plant

To stabilize the flow through high pressure injection components and to take precautions against the danger of tension cracks, intersections of bore holes have to be radiused by means of fluid grinding technology: The bore hole intersections are flowed with high pressurized abrasive fluid under constant grinding flow conditions. After the grinding process the work pieces are cleaned and dried in flushing stations. The plant comprises two autarchic grinding modules and a common robot loading cell placed alongside an automatic conveyor system which performs the transport between loading cell and grinding modules. An easy adjustment to different types of work pieces can be done by means of an ergonomic user interface which also provides graphical illustration of all process data and process results.
