At the beginning of September, Sonplas welcomed seven young men who have decided to join the company to become mechatronics engineers, electronics engineers and technical product designers. In addition, one long-term employee is starting his retraining as a warehouse logistics specialist.

After the welcoming and a tour through the company, the apprentices were able to get to know each other better during speed dating. In addition, Svenja Ettmeier and Christoph Neumeier introduced themselves to the newcomers as apprenticeship spokespersons. If they have any questions, concerns or wishes, the apprentices can contact them at any time. Afterwards, the young adults went to the canteen for their first lunch together. They also received important information about their job at Sonplas and instructions for their new everyday working life. A team-building task topped off the start of apprenticeship before the group went off for their first well-deserved evening off. Sonplas now employs a total of 31 apprentices, six of them young women. There are still apprenticeship offers available for September 2022.
