This week, 16 students from Santa Clara University in California have visited Sonplas GmbH. In cooperation with the BITZ Oberschneiding, an institution of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, the EMBA students visited several Bavarian companies – including Sonplas – as part of the EMBA Immersion Week 2024.
The program is aimed at experienced executives and managers with 10 or more years of experience and enables participants to get to know the special features, culture and characteristics of German companies.

The group started with a brief introduction to the company and was then guided through the different plants by Christian Wachtmeister, Werner Riederer, Florian Klimmer and Natalie Stroinski in order to get to know the company. A key focus was on the hydro-erosive machining of components.
Following the tour, the guests worked on case studies regarding the market development of new segments and the marketing of the hydro-erosive machining process. They then presented their results in a final session.
