Assembly system/test system for GDI pumps

i

The assembly and test system for GDI pumps is used to finalise pumps after they have left the pump test bench. In the first station, they are blown out one more time to reduce the residual oil again. In the second station, the O-ring is fitted with the help of an operator. This is followed by the third station, where the part is labelled with all the necessary information using a laser. This is followed by the fourth station, which verifies the labelling and other features of the pump using a camera system. This is followed by the last station, where an operator fits the caps and, if the inspection is successful, releases them for packaging using another camera system.
If a feature falls outside the tolerances during the inspection, these pumps are transported to a separate reworking conveyor, where they can then be reworked and reintroduced for a new inspection.
